I am such a huge nerd.
Listening to:
So so SOOOO satisfied with one of my Christmas gifts. Even though I knew I was getting it. After all, I DID buy the thing and then just get reimbursed for it by my grandparents who gave it to me.
It's the Limited Edition Box Set of the Harry Potter DVDs.
I am such a big gigantic nerd. But I'm OK with that because I am also so very happy.
I now have doubles of the DVDs. Tee hee.
I took some pictures today of little cartoon thingees I draw on the pink board (like a white dry erase board - but pink) on my fridge but I haven't loaded them onto my Mac yet so I'll have to post them later. Probably with some Christmas pics.
Happy Christmas!!!

OH the weather outside is frightful...
...but apparently it wasn't frightful enough yesterday for people because people STILL came to the movie theatre to see stuff. Like, what is WRONG with them? You had to be a crazy person to go driving about yesterday. These photos weren't taken yesterday when it was snowing (obviously because a) I would have been at work and b) there would have been clouds in the sky instead of blueness and sunshine and c) you'd be able to see little tufts of white falling from the sky in a methodical and seemingly never-ceasing fashion) but this morning at 11:30am. These are the views outside my front window.
Ew. Cloud poop.
How I hate the winter.
But on the bright side, we'll have snow for Christmas this year.
Yay!
But after that, the snow can all go away and palm trees and sand can replace it for the rest of the year.
Imagine if Aurora had palm trees? And sand? It might not suck as much as it does.
Anyway, just really bored. Getting ready for casino fun at the Falls for tomorrow. WOOT! And listening to crappy 80's music:
Yes! Men in Hats! Effing EH!
Anyway.
Toodle-oo.

Study Break
So, I've had to get my skate deck REPRINTED. Like, what the CRAP! As it turns out, the print that I originally had done was shite so I had to go to Staples to get it redone. If they don't do it properly or something, I may scream. I also left my Buster (my storage key) with them because it has the file on it. I am so scared for him. I cannot wait until 7pm when I can get my little Buster back.
Yes, I am a freak who loves her USB key A LOT and has named it Buster. After the character Buster on Arrested Development.
I am such a nerd.
Anyway, here's a sketch I did of Pwince and Pwincess chibi characters. My sister says it looks like her and her boyfriend Adam - only as cartoon form ... with giant heads ... and very small bodies ... and they're not REALLY royalty though sometimes I think my sister THINKS she is.
POINT IS!!
Here y'are:
Here is Tina (my sistorial type relation person) and Adam:
Such an effing cute picture. I know y'all were just DYING to see ;)
Another sketcheronie: NARWHAL!!! They are the unicorned whales of the deep.
Oh, buggeration. Need to get back to "studying".
Toodles.

A Little PSA...
I was just using Blackle a few minutes ago and I just thought of something that I thought all Mac users (because I know there are a few people who actually read this thing that ARE Mac users like me) should be aware of.
OK, if you don't know what Blackle.com is all about, here's the gist of it: it's a search engine with a black interface instead of a white one. The theory is that white uses up more energy than black and thus saves more power. If you're all for saving power and you own a Mac (I don't know if PCs are capable of this but I wouldn't doubt it if they can't because they are so much less cool than Macs. Yeah. I said it. So what?) then you can turn your screen on to "negative mode" which makes your screen look like a film negative and all dark and shtuff. Now, this is crap for watching videos and pictures and stuff but if you're just on Google or Facebook or MS Word or something, just press Command (the Apple key) + Option + Control + 8 and voila! Negative screen.
Sit in the dark and turn it on and off a few times. You'll be amazed at how much LESS light it's using.
OK. That's my PSA. Now on to our regular programming.

Set design for something or other
Set design for ... something. I don't remember what I was drawing it for exactly. But it took me several hours. And some of the angles and such still aren't right.

Panic Disorder Video
A video I did in Grade 11 for P.E. Class about Panic Disorder. It's got pretty good reviews on YouTube. I've added my channel to the "Random Sites" section, if you're interested in other crap I've done for fun.

Ratatouille!
In honor of my favorite Disney/Pixar movie coming out on DVD next week, I decided to draw my two favorite rats: Remy (top) and his brother Emile (bottom). These look REALLY bad as scans. It looks much better in my sketch book because you can see all the details. Unfortunately the scanner didn't pick up on those. Oh well.
